About
The Department of Physics, established in 2019. More than 90% of the students belong to ST Category. Palghar District is a Tribal District. The Department of Physics has always been a source of inspiration to the new generation of students in encouraging them always to aim for the higher education. To raise the dignity of the teaching profession and excellence by providing value based educational course for the poor, needy and also for the adivasis and the underprivileged so as to enable them to meet the changing socioeconomic needs.. There has been demand for opening the Physics Department at Girivasi seva mandal’s Murlidhar Nanaji Mohite Guruji College of Arts,Commerce and Science College, Khodala-jogalwadi and therefore in 2019 the Physical Science section with Department of Physics, and Since then, Department of Physics offers UG program for B.Sc. students. Department of Physics focuses on motivating young talents and the underprivileged society to understand knowledge of physics to create competency and skill.
